A political journalist in Japan died from overwork, her employer has revealed four years after her death.

Miwa Sado died of congestive heart failure in 2013 after working 159 hours and 37 minutes of overtime in one month, her employer, the Japanese national broadcaster NHK, announced on Wednesday, according to the Asahi newspaper. That's an average of about 5.9 hours of overtime a day, including weekends.

Thats very common in Japan, They call it as "Karoshi" which mean death by work..

they only knw work work..if they go early home their ladies says ur waste fellow u need work more than 18hrs to impress family.Thats their culture anta frnd told when he made japan onsite couple of yrs back.after onsite he said i will never wrk for japan client again my lifetime.akkada metro station lo suits tho padukundi potharu anta alasi poyi..

agreed ...my friend is working on Digital images ...car sensors projects in one car project ....morning 7 ki vastahdu anta ...apatike office motham full except his cube...evening 630 ki lestahdu anta..office full ga untundhi anta ...donga laga paripothadu anta mellaga... in between lunch break kuda undadhi anta laddulodhi ...

they sent him to usa on business trip...he stayed there for 2 weeks ...daily japanese time lo 4 hours untadu ..us timing lo 12 hours untadu ...asalu vadiki 8 hours to sleep antay ....em jeevitham ra anukuna...vallu echey dabbulaki full paisalu vasool chestahru ...
