28% tax is throughout the supply chain. It seems high, but its not. 18% may have been more ideal.

GST problems is not with the tax rates. but the way the entire system is handled.

VAT evadu kattale ani clear ga kanipisthondi.

post GST, the rise in prices is not that much.

the real sufferers of the GST are the ones who are paying it (the manufacturers etc). The system is unbelievably complex, and govt has no clue what it is doing.
