yes,after 6 months of service AT&T will unlock for free or buy unlock service on ebay

Att prepaid phones unlock chyyochu ani vinna. I am  not if that trick still working.

Buy phone.go to att unlock site and fill form as gophone or something

 

They will unlock it

 

But dont activate phone until u get result from att.

 

If that doesnt work you can try in below site.

Att used to unlock phones without issues in past. They changed unlocking policies for prepaid phone and now we have to wait 6 months. Dont buy them if you want to send it to India. May be you can give it a try with Rsim chip. It may work.

Call ATT and ask them you are travelling out of the country they will unlock it.
