The Class XI student has been charged with Indian Penal Code Section 302 (murder).

He wanted school exams postponed so he murdered Pradyhumn in order to get the school to declare a holiday'. So far, bus conductor Ashok Kumar was believed to be the one who murdered Pradhyumn. He had confessed to his crime soon after his arrest. However, the senior student's arrest has now given a new twist to the case. Reports said the arrested student will be produced in the court today and the CBI is expected to make an official statement on the matter.
