విజయవాడ-సింగపూర్‌ మధ్య విమానాలు 
వారంలో 3 రోజులు నడపాలని నిర్ణయం

ఈనాడు అమరావతి: విజయవాడ, సింగపూర్‌ మధ్య నేరుగా వారంలో కనీసం మూడు రోజులు విమానాలు నడపనున్నారు. సింగపూర్‌ వాణిజ్య, పరిశ్రమల శాఖ మంత్రి ఈశ్వరన్‌, ముఖ్యమంత్రి చంద్రబాబు మధ్య శుక్రవారం జరిగిన సమావేశంలో ఈ మేరకు ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నారు. నిర్దేశించిన సంఖ్య కంటే తక్కువ సంఖ్యలో ప్రయాణికులు ఉన్నట్టయితే, ఆ మిగతా మొత్తాన్ని రాష్ట్ర ప్రభుత్వం భరిస్తుంది. రాజధాని నిర్మాణంలో సింగపూర్‌ ప్రభుత్వ, ప్రైవేటు సంస్థలు క్రియాశీలంగా వ్యవహరిస్తున్న విషయం విదితమే. ప్రస్తుతం ప్రయాణికుల సంఖ్య తక్కువగా ఉన్నందున కొన్ని సంస్థలు ముందుకు రావడం లేదు. వాటి అంచనా తప్పని, ఒకసారి విమాన సర్వీసు మొదలైతే ప్రయాణికుల సంఖ్య పెరుగుతుందని ముఖ్యమంత్రి పేర్కొన్నట్టు సమాచారం.
