Can i use a 65w adapter on a 45w laptop

Hello,

Please forgive me for asking what is probably a very simple question.

My current Dell inspiron is on a 45W adapter. I purchased a second adapter which is on 65W. My new adapter states output 19V=3.33A while my current adapter is on 19.5V = 2.31A. I want to make sure the 63W adapter will not damage my laptop since it is larger then what is indicated on the laptop label.

The old adapter has the following information on the label:
Input: 100-240V
50-60 Hz
Output: 19.5V=2.31A

The new adapter has the following information on the label:
Input: 100-240V
50-60Hz
Output: 19.5V=3.33A

Any responses to let me know if I can use the 65W adapter without damaging my laptop would be very much appreciated!

Thank you.
