Let me predict something about Canada. When people my age become the elite in Canada (80s born), Canada will start the journery to resemble the US. It will have a home grown popular fascist movement. No doubt about it.

Younger generation in Canada can swing both ways, after being brought up in a steady diet of multicultural brainwashing.

That's eventually expected anyway, right now Canada isn't in a position in terms of the numbers to have a home grown fascist movement. Maybe once it reaches a critical mass in terms of the numbers, it can have the numbers to gain such a movement.

individually both Teresa may and Justin Trudeau are hated in their countries. Not to extent as Trump, because Trump is an easy punching bag as a bumbling fool.

The system is the same in all these countries, its more apparent in the US because its amplified by the size of the country, and the size of its mistakes.

For example, in both UK and Canada, there has been constant push for corporatisation of election funding, but it hasn't been successful because home grown corporations are not big enough to force it. In US, home grown corporations are so big, its mind boggling what they can achieve by throwing money.

Canadians like to pretend they are better than the US. Its just like a shallow liberal claiming to be better than red necks because he has a couple black friends. deep down, that liberal also yearns for white approval.

brits are dour, Canadians are fake. US atleast is real, inspite of being horrible.

I know about this incident, but that was a different era. Times are different now, what @uttermost is referring to is different from the incident you have mentioned.
