How does it pose a threat when you don't give away your credentials? Just wondering.

Don't worry if you can't access your Bittrex, Poloniex, Binance accounts right now. It is completely for our good.
What the thing is, recently (I mean very recently) Intel held a conference all of a sudden and announced that their chips are vulnerable to hackers.
After this news came up, all the websites which are currently running on those Intel servers have stopped withdrawals of all the coins just in case if anyone hacks into into their servers they can't withdraw. Reason why you see that caution symbol right after the coin names at balance page. Even if you see your balance amount as zero, don't worry, exchanges always have backup, they'll revert your BTC or any coin you're holding back.
Balance shows zero because even if any coin left without disabling withdrawals, server will strike the withdrawal request off that particular coin with an error "insufficient funds".
This will taken a while, be patient.
