Telangana stands No1 in Beer Marketing in Southern States even in winter season. Thus Telangana is importing beer bottles from neighbouring states while stalling exports. Analysts say that Telangana people are consuming 37 lakh cases per month on an average and to meet the increased demand TSBCL is importing 20,000 cases per day. Social analysts and Jana Vignana Vedica members say that youth in Telangana are getting addicted to beer and there after to alcohol. According to an excise officer Telangana stands no 1 in in beer marketing in the country.
