For example someone  X have - h1 approved till 2019 with Y employer. All good but salary with one of the big players desi company. 

X wants h 1 transfer to American based company and company ready to sponsor and apply in premium as well. 

As I know X is  do not want to take chances. What if transfer get denied and what happens to my current H1 

will it be valid after transfer got denied.

yes, but there are two types. One who admits before anyone asks and one who doesn't (until they get caught)...lol

anyway, my advice is to keep the current H1 and do not tell/resign until your transfer is approved. If it is rejected, business as usual with your current employer. Prepare yourself for both.
