Real Incident: Who Are Interested to Go to Amaravati? TCS-Real-Incident-Who-Are-Interested-to-Go-to-AmaravatiWe have been hearing about the news of Techies from Andhra Pradesh willing to go back to their home state if IT ushers in the truncated state. Here is a real incident that happened in TCS Hyderabad as revealed by one of the employees of the company. N Ganapathy Subramaniam, the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director of Tata Consultancy Services was at the Company’s Hyderabad Facility a few months ago. He reportedly had a Town Hall Meeting with the Senior Associates of the company. In a Q&A session, someone had asked him about the plans to start a facility in Amaravati, he went on to say that there are no immediate plans. But then, Ganapathy Subramaniam asked how many are really willing to go there if the facility is started. To his utter surprise, about 80% have raised their hands and the Executive Director was stunned. It has to be seen if this response prompts TCS to think about a possible investment in Amaravati or any other place in Andhra Pradesh in the near future.

No. how can hyderabad be an exception to every other metro in India? If andhra people move out, others will come. city will always be what it is, and keep increasing with every year.

property prices are already cheaper than any comparable metro in India. how can they go lower than that? now it even has metro, and a swanky airport.

unless there's an economic crash and many people lose jobs, property prices (esp in hyd) are not going down.
