Ofcourse it means that Virat has been more consistent over a longer time than Rohit.

anyway the only innings of Rohit I remember was his knock against SA in T20 2007 world cup. I thought it was debut. I may be wrong. he made 65 or something, and absolutely regal in his batting.

Rohit definitely is more talented than Virat. But Virat is more determined. They both debut ODIs in same year 2008 I believe. They are U19 world cup winning team mates. For first 3-4 years, everyone thought Rohit is going to fill the Sachin's place to some extent. He was so inconsistent and Virat was too aggressive and childish. Rohit is still inconsistent but Virat matured a lot.
