ntr is the exception. US politics is different. 

mgr was in politics for 20yrs before he became CM. MGR was vocal dravidian supporter. Rajini has no stand.

There's only so much people will talk about him entering politics. after a while, people will ask what he'll do. and he won't have answers. Nobody who discards ideology can have answers that are palatable to the common public.

yes. MGR used politics to become a huge actor, and then used his movies to promote himself in politics. he was much cleverer than Karunanidhi.

Rajini is clever too, but people are not that gullible now, like they were in the 60s and 70s. They won't vote for their favourite star.

Right now anti center is the huge rage. Rajni must cash in on it. But I doubt he will.

what he does from now until 2021 elections will decide his political career. not one speech where he declares that he'll resign.
