This is because India is the most populous country with  several hundred  minority communities of different faiths living with majority Hindus.

if you go by numbers it should be more than any other country in this world but if you go by  the ratio of number of incidents to number of people, I think it should report far less and in acceptable levels.

By this I am not endorsing any  religious atrocities , religious riots,  communal murders  and acts of discrimination against any group.

No. Its because India is a religious hellhole. its not a secular nation.

only going by ratios, India has vastly more religious skirmishes than any other nation in the world (apart from the ones in middle east which are in constant war since the 70s).
