Most Likely the best that can come out of the debate for us would be this and nothing else

"Reallocates the 55,000 visas in the Diversity Visa Lottery to reducing and eliminating the existing familybased and employment-based immigration backlogs"

Inka migatha antha same to same untadi

This is good.. But I prefer Merit based immigration coz the employment based is exploited too...

With country cap, we may get another 100 extra visas out of 55,000. This bill has no advantage for us.

27500 - EB ki anukunte .. andulo backlog only India and China ke undhi .. so 27500/4 (2 countries 2 categories) = 6875 --- which is more than what we are getting currently .. China backlog india antha ledu so .. after 2-3yrs everything will allocated towards india .. 30-40yrs wait may come down to 7-10yrs ani na peeling

7% of 55,000 =3580. Not a bad number. Something better than nothing.

I wish this happens only if everything goes smooth, if they retrogress, we don't see any better. Spouses ni count chesthe it will never help bro. Imagine all of us in masters applied as single now after few years each of us have wives that we want to include, if you look at USCIS recent charts, starting 2016, there are at least 15,000 min applied per month for GC, only recession time and 2011-2015 they slowed down the filings. Eppatiki avutayi ivi anni.. inka whole point of immigration reform has no benefit for us

This is not true dude, straight 55,000 is sub-allocated for Family based  & EB combined to clear the back log. You are not accounting Family based. Compared to Family based, EB is nothing.

and aa filings lo malla porting lu chaala ayayi .. worst case scenario alochisthunna nenu anthe .. worst case lo at least idi vachina manaki something is better than nothing kada ..
