Preity Asrani was very young when she got her first offer to act in the movie. She made an entry into movies when she was just 13 years old. She made a foray into the industry circle as a child artist. Her two popular films as a child actor - Oo Kodthara Ooluki Padthara with Balakrishna and Gundello Godari with Manchu Lakshmi.

This young actress now has a dream to work with a number of industry's biggest stars in a variety of diverse and challenging roles. She won rave reviews for a bi-lingual web series ‘Social’, opposite stars Rana Daggubati, Naveen Kasturia, Priya Banerjee and Moin among others. The web series is directed by Shashi Sudigal and it is backed by Viu India. The web-series totally focused on cyber-crimes of our society.

In her youthful days, she also tried her hands into modeling and later worked in a short film ‘ Fidaa’, which brought her rave reviews in her career.

In the web-series ‘Social’, she narrated the role of Veda, the girl who goes missing. In this web-series, Naveen Kasturia‘s sister is missing. Thus the entire story revolves around her brother who along with three friends set out to investigate Veda’s mysterious disappearance.

She loved the enigmatic cast of Rana Daggubati, Naveen, Moin Khan and Priya Banerjee. She is happy that she got a chance to face Rana in initial stages of her career. She loved the warmth of Rana and other stars during the shooting of ‘’Social’, which will remain refreshing in her mind always. Currently, she is busy with some more projects and one among them is with producer M.S. Raju.

Her sister Anju Asrani has been her inspiration drive to reach a stage in her acting career.

She is happy that the web series ‘Social’, will take the Telugu film industry into right direction where new and more filmmakers will find a platform to narrate the newer stories for the digital platform. She is proud that ‘Social’ narrated the darker side of social media and sent a message to many parents and children too
