All work is not the same. Even when the work is the same, the efficiency with which the work is done is not the same for everyone.

That's why calling for blanket equal pay is not useful.

I go one step further and say automate all jobs, and take away a man's incentive to behave like an asshole. (his ability to make money, and consolidate power).

They did change over the years in terms of many towards gender equality but still they could not able to accept women becoming equal to men even though she does perform the same responsibilities like him..

Does wage gap exist in the tech world? If it does, it should be reported.

The problem with tech/finance world is that there are not many women in it. 

bro assholes form cliques and enhance their personal brand utility to the company, at the cost of women. Women eventually give up trying to compete, and settle for working the same job without pay hikes, or just quit and do some homebased business.

Yes, their husbands also encourage that. because most of them are cowards to handle an assertive and career based woman.
