I don't think he get more than 5 or 6 years with deportation and it depends how his lawyer defend the case..if he just had few drinks and start in his car and no DUI or other warnings before, he has chance for very least sentence..

if his friends told him not to drive and still he got into the car and  way too much above the allowed limits then Judge can consider it as murder and will get max sentence..
