Father-in-law Old Passp0rt has name (spelling is incorrect) which is different than all other documents (10th, aadhar..etc).. My wife passport has fathers name as per other documents (not per current passport).

Now this passport will be renewed very soon, so which of the below 2 is correct/better

1.Should new passport be taken on name  which is as per all other documents like 10th, aadhar..etc (i.e. not as per old passport)

2. Should new passport name be taken as per old passport only ?

Important since he will be going for vis@ st@mping soon
