I agree and compared to whatsApp i prefer Slack for an organized thread based discussions for each hand, so that we don't miss our focus. Good idea and in that we can have threads like 1/2 or 1/3, 2/5, for @Nellore_peddareddi Sake 5/10 or 10/20, tournaments etc.

I was looking for this type of stage from long time. I came to know this thread last month, and i realized that, each and every comment in this 200 pages worth alot to me, so i spend quality time to read patiently. While i am reading i felt bad myself that, why i didn't come across this thread last year. I was so happy while reading this thread. Let me introduce myself. I am from Tampa, FL. I am been contracting here for different companies from last 7 years in Tampa and Orlando. I started gambling from long time, but never pay attention or get attached to any other game compared to Poker. Below is my poker losings/winnings. 2013 - dont' remember but lost less than 2k 2014 - lost big amount around 20k, i was a fish and used to make cash advances from credit card. 2015 - no poker at all due to work and parents visiting to usa 2016 - ups and downs may be less than 2k loss 2017 - ups and downs may be less than 2k loss 2018 - profit around 3k 2019 - profit around 8k Andari laage Poker ki vellali ante, intlo pedda racha undedi pellam tho naaku. After losing 5k in 2 months, i took it as a challenge and started exploring on poker by watching videos, reading blogs, analyzing my hands vs others, others play etc and documenting it.. started playing hands with the pakka plan by having a checklist to review before heading to poker room. Fortunately started gaining profits. family india nundi vache time aindi. Strictly told to my wife. If you allow me to go to poker room frequently, even for daily then come to USA. Otherwise stay in India. Actually, poker is the only thing where we get clashes in my relationship. I don't want non-sense every time i go to poker. She agreed and came to USA. US ki vachinaaka we went to Las Vegas with other families. Kids padukunnaka MGM hotel lo families andaram kalisi casino ki vellinam. All of my friends along with my wife started playing Craps. Initially, i gave $500 to my wife and she lost $300. I was just sitting and watching. I hate gambling games if there is no skill involved. I told my wife to give me that $200, asked her to come along with me to see my poker playing. I started with $200 in 2-5 NL and made it 2300$ in 2 hours. When couple of players on the board started praising me, then my wife realized my potential in poker game. From last 6 months i am going to poker twice in a week, some times 3 times in a week(only if there is a good action) and my wife is not saying a single word. lol well done...this is inspirational.... pillirevanth
Guys, Here are the slack details. Feel free to add your self with the invitation link and share with your poker friends. I added a few channels here. Don't mess with them. I will explain how to use them. I will share the plan by the weekend. We will discuss more on the plan so that we can better utilize the Channels. Also, i am adding examples in each Channel for your understanding. Everything will be done by the weekend. I am trying to segregate the best portions of this thread(200 pages) into either one of slack channels. pillirevanth
Hi Guys, I have created below channels in Slack group. I did my best to cover this thread's 200 pages content into corresponding channels. Further, if we discuss in the corresponding channels then it will be more structured for discussions as well as for reviewing later. You can share this invitation link with your friends who are interested in Poker. You can use your Andhrawatch username as display name in Slack or your original name. I don't mind to use my name as i am going to meet you guys in person soon. I think if we utilize the below channels as explained we can produce better results. If you have a better plan, let me know we can make changes. #general (All general discussions will go here. If you are not sure where to start then this is the starting point.) #glossary (you can explain poker terminology) #how_to_play_this_hand (This channel is NOT for discussions. In this channel we mention how to play some hands in general like AK.) #miscellaneous_disco(In this channel we discuss something not related specific hands. Ex: How to kill time while playing poker?) #pro_tips(This channel contains all the tips given by our experts like Nellore_Peddireddi) #review_my_hand_plz (We will discuss specific hands we played on tables) #tournaments_only (only tournaments discussions here)
