These are tough spots. Ofcourse you end up calling in this situation. with 9s 8s 10s hands you always should jam before others do, else you end up getting stacked. As someone hitting one pair always have a combo draw. If you want get value, bet small and do a pot control on turn and river or jam turn if a safe card falls.
