Planning to play a tournament in local casino.. but im not sure about these rules terminology. "This event will be 9 handed when manageable. Top 10% of entries will make the money or 9, whichever is more. Players may re-enter. Redraw for seats at 10, redraw at 18 and 10 if there are 180 or more players. Tournament ends at last player with chips or if players agree to divide the remaining prize pool at the final table. 1 bubble deal if 17 or fewer players paid, maximum of 2 bubbles if 18 or more places are paid (must be unanimous)."

Can anyone throw some light on this.. if they are aware of it??

My understanding Most of the times its 9 handed table... Only when need they might run 10 hand table(ex: unofficial final table for main event is 10 handed and after final table bubble they are 9 handed). Redraw for seat for last two tables and final table(when you are in the final 18 people you have to draw a card to chose a new seat).. Bubble deal for 18th player if 17  players(the total number of players assuming 180 registrations) gets paid (like in WSOP ME bubble gets a next year entry something like that)... If more than 180 registrations there will be 2 bubble players..

This information casino  provided is just informational just go play your A gane and be on the final table...

In tournaments when you are left with 5-6 people start negotiating chop based on stacks etc etc., In general people go for chop in local tourneys as one hand can change everything. Some players ask for more than ICM and in that case some oppose to take less than what they get. Alanti cases lo they try to play out and mostly first 2 or first 3 takes based on ICM. GSB3.gif?1370457845

Even they split up money equally if ICM varies like top 2 places, the GPI points is based on ICM or they play only for title with money split. There are many factors considered.GSB3.gif?1370457845
