These airlines have a limit and basically used to connect tier-2 cities and usually flying time is less than 90 mins for most of these aircraft, however, these aircraft have a limit to travel upto 3 hours. But, these ATR 72's are turbo propeller aircraft and present regulations over Indian ocean permit the only aircraft with the minimum of two jet engines, essentially ruling out international service of 4 hours flight and these turbo propeller aircraft have weight limits and a flying ceiling limit as well as baggage carrying space. Android_Halwa Posted August 10, 2018 Report Share Posted August 10, 2018 with the distance between VGA and SIN at 3049 kilometers or 1894 miles, this will essentially rule out ATR-72 technically impossible to fly this sector. also, the flying ceiling is capped at 25,000 feet and international service needs to fly above 35,000 feets over international air space. Boeing 747 3 hours and 22 minutes Boeing 777 3 hours and 25 minutes Gulfstream 550 3 hours and 35 minutes Boeing 737-800 3 hours and 38 minutes Airbus A320 3 hours and 41 minutes None of the above aircrafts have 60 seater. All the above aircrafts have average of 160 seats in two configurations. Gulfstream 550 is a business jet and can only fly max of 20 passengers.
