Sunit Dutt was a good leader, available for all type vuntunde...karudugattina congressvadi...yeah, you can say Sunil Dutt was a spot less person...1992 riots apudu Sunil Dutt went against Bal Thackrey and opposed Thackrey a lot..but after trying everything he could to get his son out of the jail, none in congress helped him and no political leader has helped..infact, TADA case kabatti no one dared...even P V Narasimha Rao also could not help him and instead, has completely ignored. 

Movie lo oka character vuntadi kada, a politican sleeps while sanjay dutt tries to talk to him...that character is Vajpayee...Vajpayee being a close friend of P V Narasimha Rao , Sharad Pawar suggested Sunil Dutt to meet Vajpyee and persuade the issue with P V Narasimha Rao to drop the charges but even Vajpayee also did not help him as it was a treason case...

FInally with all options exhausted, only option was Bal Thackrey, the person who Sunil Dutt opposed for years ...had to persuade the issue with Thackrey and finally Sanjay Dutt was released on bail...
