Some of those people are leading miserable married lives themselves, so of course they would want to see one more person become a victim of it.

Most cases lo pre nup is a waste of time in India. For example if her living conditions change after marriage, a prenup made before she got married isn't good enough anymore. Say she was working before marriage and stopped working after marriage, even temporarily that's enough for her to claim alimony or get a part of his property etc. Also if she files a 498a case, the property that's in the name of the guy's parents will also be considered okay for settlement it doesn't have to be necessarily on the name of the guy.

India lo laws still weak vunayi and favour women in most cases, pre-nuptial agreement ki aithe pedaga value vundi ani kuda neu anukuntalenu.....but then again, India lo ilanti vishayalu emaina jarigithe there are many other ways to control and deal with such things....bedirinchi, bayapetinchi, bratimiladi, nachacheppi, pedda manushulani patkochi ila there are many ways to deal with such things...

but, US lo pre-npt agreement and all, will be better...
