this makes me to doubt on TTD..  devotees are allowed during maha samprokshana in srirangam. 

vishnavites follows 2 kinds of aagama... one is pancharatna... another one is vaikhanasa...

pancharatna is dominant than vaikhanasa... according to that article they did not close the temple during maha samprokshana.. .they why for TTD? any special reason...
