Lot of issues with this thread , not going to dwell into them , parents are not saints , that being said they come close some times at least.

Our Indian parents typically are overbearing , controlling , manipulative , care about outside appearance of kids and show off about their kids a lot. Despite all this , most of the times they do care about their kids welfare.
