Not recommending but thought it would be useful info from my personal experience-

Bought Chrysler Pacifica 2017 Limited - Fully Loaded- in Nov 2017- 8 seater (no sun roof)

Also paid - 2K for service( 10yrs or 100K - all recommended services free) and 2.8k for life time warranty from Mopar( Fiat Chrysler Service ) everything covered except tires/ brakes/ wiper for lifetime - no limit on mileage. Max deductible $100. Bought it for peace of mind- Chrysler - low on reliability.

Using for 6 months - Total 13k

Mileage I am getting - City - 21 Highway 27

Likes:

- Engine - Next best after Odyssey in the segment. But not much difference for every day driving. My fist V6 so big upgrade for me.

- Safety - Fully loaded. It even parks by itself parallel and regular parking. I was impressed by it during the demo. Never used it. Definitely two accidents prevented auto braking for me. Best everyday use- 360 degree camera- not available in Odyssey

- Entertainment- best in the segment. Two long drives. Kids enjoyed individual screens.

- Conveince - Stow n Go seats- one of the best feature. Very practical to move large things.

- Satisfaction - Really enjoy driving  it. Never thought driving van also can be some fun. not using my car much.

Dislike-— Recalls. Had two recalls so far - nothing mechanical. Software updates.

My first non Honda vehicle. No regrets so far.

Bought on Black Friday on - their in stock model -2017( 2018 released but no change from 2017). Initially want to buy at the end of December.

Paid -$40500- OTD- Service Contract bought at the same time 2k extra and warranty bought online from another FCA dealer.

Initial quote dealer gave is MSRP - 48K plus Taxes.

Regarding resale - Compare lease prices - after 3 yrs it’s 5% less than Honda Odyssey. But long term resale no comparison to Honda. But Pacifica still new vehicle and that might change.

Went to regular service - FCA is very particular about customer satisfaction

My intention is to keep the van as long as possible so took a chance. Two of my friends leased it- due to concern for resale.

How is the cabin noise? Is it quite when you do more than 70mph
