As per gift tax act, money transferred to parents is not taxable in India. I've transferred more than 15 lakhs in a week to my parents while purchasing an apartment.

Maybe send multiple transfers like < 5 lakhs each as if it's a lump sum amount then bank might ask your parents to provide some documents with recent demonetization rules.

Xoom lo once you provide SSN, you can transfer 20,000 USD (30 days) and 30,000 USD (180 days)

make your dad as nominee on your nre account.  So he can act as you in India.

Don't open any new account; ado pedda bokka. You can send upto 30 lakh per month to parents no one cares.

But, endukaina manchidi send small amounts (<2 lakh) in one transaction.

Personal experiences specific ga evaru share cheskokapovachu, but most of us experienced the same situation. chill

My purpose is: send money from usa to India legally, so that my dad doesn't have to deal with any documentation needs from bank. And also if I buy a property in India, I should be able to pay from my account and also use the same account for expenses occurring during my visit there..

Please help, manku 2 accounts kaavala? only nro saripotunda?

Get both accounts. NRE you can transfer funds from here, operate online, no others can deposit into this account. NRO others can deposit.
