he did, what ever he can, but the statments he gave when he was in prime about othersenior  players 

he is not following it.

i don't think he said anything about out of form players.. i thought he said about slow players whose fielding and running between the wickets is slow.. look at Indian team then and Indian team now in these aspects.. Dhoni is still the fastest in the team.. an aging war horse who needs a suitable replacement.. replacements were ready then, except for Sehwag.. anyway, selectors and captain can choose what they want if they have problem with Dhoni..
