PK need not have presence all over the state. where as YCP is weak only in Godavari Dists it can be covered with JSP.

Vote shares matter in the elections. YCP, JSP alliance will definitely dent TDP's chances in 2019. 

They're most likely going to ally. 

It's not that YCP will not ally Congress after elections YCP would be much more comfortable for Congress than TDP.

so for Congress it's a win win if they manage to win the Center.

Pawan Shaking TDP In Godavari Districts?

It looks like power star and Jana Sena Party president Pawan Kalyan is going to cause severe dent in the Telugu Desam Party rather than splitting the anti-establishment vote which would have caused a lot of damage to the YSR Congress party, particularly in East and West Godavari districts.

According to reports coming from the Godavari districts, a large number of TDP leaders and cadre are eager to join the Jana Sena Party in these districts.

On the other hand, there are hardly any leader from the YSR Congress party who is evincing interest in joining hands with Pawan Kalyan.

Prominent among the TDP leaders from East Godavari district is Thota Trimurthulu from Ramachandrapuram assembly constituency. Many other Kapu and Dalit leaders are also keen on following him into the Jana Sena.

Similarly, Pawan also is holding sway in Guntur district. The joining of former assembly speaker Nadendla Manohar has given a big boost to Jana Sena Party.

According to party sources, former minister and Prathipadu MLA Ravela Kishore Babu and Guntur West MLA Modugula Venugopal Reddy also might join the Jana Sena shortly.

Ravela, who has been sulking ever since he was dropped from the state cabinet last year, has been raising his voice against the TDP and has been participating in anti-government demonstrations since then.

On Monday, Ravela was assaulted by a group of TDP workers in Mutluru in Guntur district, where he was holding a meeting with Dalits.

May be he will announce his plan of action in a day or two.
