You don’t get an F1 VISA, you can complete the whole program from anywhere in the world

You can complete online masters from Oxford and Harvard too. The biggest advantage is the H1 Masters quota for on campus students here though. Fulltime apply chesinappudu in background check they will ask whether it is online or fulltime. Many of the fulltime jobs I applied for were very specific about fulltime.

You get the exact same degree dude. How does it matter in background check?

EASY Aithe edi undadu, because the programs are very rigorous. But you can take 1-2 courses per semester and finish it in 3-5 years.

cost wise Aithe Georgia Tech is $6.6k, UT Austin is $10k and ASU is $15k

All these programs are highly regarded and there are people who went on to get jobs in Google, Apple, etc doing these online degrees (exception UT Austin, because it’s a new program and the first cohort starts Fall 2019)

this clearly says oms cs

Read the FAQ, the degree wouldn’t  say “ONLINE”. You get the same degree as the on-campus students and the course work is just as rigorous as the on-campus Masters

It does for fulltime jobs for some reason. Online is valued less than in person courses. There is a stigma around them. I can see it’s uses for speciality occupation though. You can do an online masters and say that you are qualified for H1.

There could be some stigma attached (some employers), but most people wouldn’t have any problem getting great jobs(including Big4) as these are from top CS schools and they don’t give admission to everyone

Cheppalante these guys don’t care about the University for most average roles. My director is from Gannon University. Vinanu kooda vinaledhu aa name ni. @3$%

CFO, CEO they may look at it. For prestigious firms and some roles they will look at the University. Inka computer science lo ayithe kontha mandhi English major chesinollu pani chesthunnaru. A small company (300 million revenue) I worked for had a CFO who did it from Shippenburg University. India lo ayithe nuvvu thopu college lo chadhivithe thappa pedda positions ivvaru antaru, kaani ikkada candidate skills and experience ni batti istharu.
