  • The Bill states that the investigating officer will not require the approval of any authority for the arrest of an accused.  Further, it provides that a preliminary enquiry will not be required for the registration of a First Information Report against a person accused under the Act.

looks like some people are super afraid that their privilege to misuse this law will come to an end and so wanted to bring another amendment to this law. hahahaha proves my point

how does it make your point? explain. don't run away with your regular bullshit rant on me.

frankly, I begin to doubt your intelligence, if you can't even check if a claim i made is true or false.

I think you should first practise debating 5th graders.

they had to bring an amendment to what the supreme court said, simply because they were afraid that their right to misuse the law(as it's being done all these years) is going to come to an end.

so they want to continue this misuse under the guise of this amendment.

hmmm.. why though? Trans was thought to be a mental issue too, and then it was discovered there were biological reasons for person identifying himself as a trans.

I've not met a gender fluid person, but I have plenty of trans friends. From what I've seen, they live very horrible lives already, and that claiming gender fluidity as a stunt is kind of possible only for really rich people who want to be in the news.

From what I read, gender fluid ante not claiming one or the other as their gender and be done with it. Its not like Trans where a guy can be a woman or vice versa for the rest of his/her life...

Gender fluid means they can claim anything they want, and also they can change that every single time they like. Isnt that true?

aa case lo isnt that stupid and silly?

there was 9% misuse. under the general criminal law the misuse is 6%.

most of the misuse in atrocity case comes from govt employee disputes. Not renter/landlord fantasy scenario you tried to pass off as legitimate.

yeah QUORA is full of fantasies, agreed agreed

An SC living in our neighborhood filed a fake case using the SC/ST Act in greed of money? We are a simple family and did not do anything wrong to them. What can I do in this case?

How easy is it to file a mental harassment case as atrocities against the SC/ST Act in India? Are general category people threatened by SC/ST filing a case against them?
