this is my 8th year working...almost continuously..!! if not the best but fairly decent package....made good money if not the best in the industry...

I can proudly say that I have no ASSET and own nothing. Literally, Nothing on this earth and plan to own nothing. Even my car is a leased car, not even the phone.

Now don't come and ask about clothes and other necessities . They are not assets. I don't plan to buy a house, no plots, no stocks, no coins, no gold, literally no assets. Cash is king and it gives me enough sleep, a sound one. In fact, the furniture in my home is also a rented one...

I may change in future, but right now literally no assets.

With respect to this thread, I'm as good as useless and no one would ever be proud of me. Not even my friends. But the reality is that none of my friends know what I am worth of and vice versa.

Nee yenkamma nee posts laki abbiyile fida ayipotaru. Ika ammayilu ayithe ninnu oka range lo respect chestaru mayya

Hehe. I’m not from a regular league.

Instead of investing and wasting time on such things, I just make sure I have steady supply of cash for life.

Every month, naaku kavalsina cash naku vache chance vunapudu, inka nakenduku ie investments and chetta....just imagine the time spent on thinking about such things, for example illu konukovali ante entha time spend chesthav, konkunna illu ki kattadam, furnishing, cleaning etc...so much of time goes into such things, I’d rather in Time than assets.

Oka car konte, on an average you will waste 200-500 hours thinking about which one to buy, test drives, research, Asking friends, blah blah and finally you invest in buying a car which loses its value eventually...I rather invest my time in such time than assets.

steady supply of cash is good but your thinking is wrong..i know you have your own explanation. Cash is king annavu..correcte..yeppudu? when some natural disaster happens and your properties go to dogs..just think about it oka 5 year back anywhere in CA illu koninte it is double now, same case in India real investments. Naa thinking yetta untadi ante for buying house, eediki pay chese badulu monthly rent why shouldn't i pay the same amount as mortgage to pay for my own house ani, its simple math and over the period property values increase. Anyway, everyone has different perception and calculations but you are the first one to think this way...weirdo hehe..JK

5 years back CA lo illu koni vunte double avutunde, but when would you reap such benefit ? only when you sell when it is the right time or else, its a dead investment.

Now you tell me, how many people around you have sold houses for appreciation ? very less. That's an indian thing. okasari konadame thappa manamu antha easy ga illu ammamu. look at this point.

property value benefit only when you sell it for appreciated price. barely 1% of the desi population does that, especially south indians in IT industry.

and you pay 30 years mortgage to bank, you end up paying so muchinterest to stay in a house which is actually owned by the bank, you being the care taker of the house, pay your payments for such a long time, then you would inherit a house which is atleast 20 years old, you get to stay in the same house for 20 years, when you finally believe the house is yours, its an old out dated house and you would en dup spending more money on repairs and refurbishment...again, a debt and waste of money..

we are st such a stage where we have no idea after the next 20 years...and of those 20 years of active life, you end up paying 15 years mortgage and inherit a house which has been used ocntionulosuly by you for 15 years. It may have increased its value, but what about you ? same house for the rest of your life with refubioshments every decade ?

Property is Theft. Owning nothing in the world is the ideal state of humans, instead of the assholes who brag about owning this and that (owning even people), but this is unsustainable in the modern world. The least one can do is shut up about what he/she owns. Making money/having investments is the easiest thing in today's world, especially if you know the right people. bragging about it is what losers do.

I own a few assets. But my focus is to buy a few sq.km. land where I, and similar minded people, can establish a mutual aid community, without the bullshit that is the modern world today.  The infra needed for such a community is.

1. decentralized communication networks - including telephony without an exchange

2. a contract system like ethereum (but more useful)

3. lots of automated robots to take care of the municipal infra

basically a world without leaders or any sort of centralized command even at the most local level, a world where you don't own anything. Not even the home you live in, after you vacate it.

People say its impossible. but what do people know other than what they were taught or experienced.

I want to destroy the modern world, and the lives of smug assholes that live inside it. including of people in this db :)

I may never be able to achieve this. Its sad.
