yes.. took the train from Egmore to Mettupalayam & then that chook chook train to ooty .. this was years ago.. I guess you have a lot of package/options available now..

hyderabad to coimbatore flight....spicejet and indigo vunnayi...

coimbatore nundi 3 hour drive to udgamandalam.

bangalor enundi kuda povachu but it takes bit longer time..

steam train vuntadi ooty la...colder months baguntayi..
