Even though we are paying by bank or credit union check without taking the loan from car dealer, still they will ask for the contract? Because the check may not work. Last I was asked them, I am paying by check and why you need the contract again. They said, unless it is cashier check, we have to do the contract and run credit. Is that true? or any game in that? Thanks.

tell then you dont want credit hit.. you will get loan from credit union something.
