I agree, not having health insurance is no excuse...there are too many who does not realize the value of having one...it's more like, nothing will happen to me attitude I guess

BTW, you just generalized  and added these assumptions to make an argument right? I am sure you know nothing.

and btw, dont donate if you don't like is not an argument, it's just a suggestion .

I'm trying to bring some awareness. Yes, I did generalize , but that's for a reason - who told him not to take insurance? How is his friends come up with 250k? Did they do any thing to acknowledge that not having insurance is a mistake and appeal to everyone that

1. Please take insurance, my friend made a mistake. 

2. Please donate. 

Ask them to change the description and highlight the have that not having insurance is a big mistake and I'll donate $ 250 . 

It's become a fashion to start GoFundMe whenever there is a trouble. There are 100s of accidents everyday - these campaigns are taking advantage of community, sorry exploiting the emotions.
