-18 is not a real threat if you are not exposed 

Make sure your car battery is ok  , tires are good , get your snow jacket and snow pant , keep food and water extra in your car 

Make sure you have flash light , , if you are having kids , don't take them outside with you. 

I travelled in this weather many times but always respect nature and know the limitations

tires are in between excellent and medium

snow jacket and pant ok

food and water in car ok

flash light to get one from Walmart auto

I’ve stayed in Minnesota brotheru 

temperature record ledu but as long as I was there completely masked out but still without inner thermals at any point 

not sure how it was helping though
