Airport unions warn of growing safety concerns in a joint statement

On Wednesday, unions representing pilots, air traffic controllers and flight attendants warned of a "growing concern for the safety and security of our members, our airlines, and the traveling public due to the government shutdown." They added, "it is unprecedented." January 24 marks day 34 of the partial US government shutdown.
