Well, then why don't you explain what you mean by that? Of course a lot of companies fund research, but that doesn't mean science in itself is all fabricated. Fabricating something will make it a novel, epic, religion. No one believes in science. We question something, hypothesize, experiment and find, that's how science works.

there are issues with companies funding the research..  that has mostly to do with locking up patents for drugs - not murdering scientists.

since no company funds fundamental research, it's not that hard for another company to replicate the drug if needed.
