I agree getting a job in engineering is a little tough however once you get it and you do a great job u can settle or even retire in one company. Also I disagree that an engineer makes less money in USA. I can guarantee you as an engineer I make more money than 80  percent of the folks here and comfortable life at work. So if 💰 is your soul goal like most of us Civil is not bad however initial start is going to be a lil tough. Get your PE license it's a big deal for civil engineers.

@dgnfiedmnHow much salary is typical for water resources engineer? And which city do you work in?

Bro. First you need to make up your mind. Is it Civil or IT. Then do your certifications like PE (FE at least to start with), ACI, CAD etc. The move to states like California, Illinois, Texas and New York. Georgia koosunte neeku emi ardam kadu. If you already made up your mind to go with IT, I wish you all the best.
