A Japanese spacecraft has landed on an asteroid and fired a bullet into it

The Japanese Aerospace Exploration Agency explorer probe Hayabusa2 successfully completed a landing on the Ryugu asteroid where it collected a dust sample by firing a bullet into the rocky surface. Scientists say that the sample could provide clues about the origin of our solar system.
