Yeah there are a few restaurants in each airport. In larger airports, you only see them in some terminals. But it's 50$ of free foods, and you don't say no to free food.

I never discouraged taking it just told opinion and restrictions . I am fine with preferred as I don’t want to pay the annual fee  for reserved so I took it . I know all benefits talked to representative and then opted preferred .  Card vachina 1 hr lo 4K $ spent on tickets too took for buying those infact . If someone is willing to pay that annual fee it’s definitely good but I am not willing to pay it is what I told .

Initial bonus is the reason I have signed up. Plan was to get the $300 Travel Credit  the 1st calendar year and again in 2nd before paying they charge the annual fee and cancel it. But I didn’t cancel and still have it. This is an option if you are looking for initial bonus alone.

If you are a frequent flyer, Priority Pass is a good benefit. Other than that you can get the TSA Pre Globaly Entree fee paid as well. Also there are no international fees and you can use it overseas.

No need to pay that for the first year. There is a trick to get the AF refunded. I used that.

Curious how to get the annual fee waived? I have already paid for 2 years and about to get the 3rd one this month. Is that waiver only for the 1st year?

Preferred undi , was beneficial , sign on bonus was good , Now mostly using Amex Blue cash for most of the things so card usage taggindi , thinking whether 95$ is worth , If you have too many cards , it might be difficult to do focused spending for points accumulation , If you are using this as your primary then it may work out

Citi double cash card untundi choodandi. 2% cashback on everything. That gets me money back than the chase sapphire cards even with the extra 25% or 50% redemption on travel purchases. i save on car rentals and trip protection though..with chase cards.

If you travel a lot yes it is worth it but first aey travel credit radu so first year annual fee is 450$ And you get travel credit of 300$ on Anniversary which would helpful for annual fee from second year . Basically 50k points ki vache travel credit Mostly poyinatte . Rest benefits chase sapphire preferred and reserve almost same with 2x vs 3x points . Just having card will not get lounge access malla daniki membership tesukovali which is 99$ annually .

Considering all above reasons I speculated  and though was tempted to take reserve i settled with preferred  . Considering free annual free 1st year and 95$ annual fee from 2nd year I felt preferred is good enough for me . Btw I travel a lot . Hope this helps.

nuvvu preferred card theesukunandhuku justification la undhi....lot of misinformation here

You get $300 from first year

You get a bonus which is extra as the name says

You get all priority pass lounges, which is at least 2-3 lounges in any major airport

Preferred is good but it's not a luxury card. Reserve is a luxury card.

Didn’t I mention all these points in my posts and did I say this is better card than reserve ? I took what is best for me and told if someone is willing to pay annual fee reserve is better . I am tempted ani kuda cheppa . After all this is a card and I have 7 more cc which includes a travel card too . Deniki justification evariki ivvali and why ?    Everyone knows reserve is better card I only talked about  benefits vs annual fee and if it is worth for individual frequency of travel @3$%
