Keep it this way. Don't politicize

Mixing politics with defence is a bad mixture. Any signs of political drama or statements from politicians before military officials show lack of credibility of armed forces.

So let army take their own defence control and keep Delhi out of the newspapers front headlines.

how does it work?

do an attack, release an official statement, don't allow national security journalists access to more information so they can confirm or deny the claims..

I mean, how does this whole thing work, other than as a farce?

anyway all this is moot, because in India, not a single national security journalist will say anything against the govt. Its not the US. govt can claim whatever they want to anyway.

This is not about retaliation of armed forces

Like the title of this thread says all these operations shouldn't be announced by politicians as official with unofficial number like 300, 400 terrorists killed and make it run as headlines in front of public...public runs on adreline and emotions.

Politicians shouldn't use this for advertisement and let it keep top secret and let the military decide. Now clouds of war are fuming all over.
