max u can invest 18% of ur salary per year. depends on how much u want to put. company match chesthe neeku super, ledhante mottham maname pettukovaali. in my case, company doesn't match anything - me putting 10%.

Also, indhulo kuda 2 options unnai - roth & Non-Roth. difference is u pay taxes right away, and the other one is u'll pay later.

market padipothe, mana 401k value kuda padatundhi but the one who is managing our 401k, they will give you options like low, medium and high risks. you can choose which ever u like - high risk theesukunte, gains/losses are high. so generally ppl go with moderate one.

Thanks bro...taxes pay right away or later is difference enti? u mean pay penalty + tax if we withdraw it earlier thank 70 years?

oka vela 4 years tarvatha market padipothe emanna effect untunda? who holds the 401k money? govt or our employer?

market lu yeni paddina malli legustahi and that how your investment should ..this is not for short term and is for your retirement .

If you think its risky then you can change your investment statergies any time like increasing your investment in bonds and non-risky assets.

nenu contracter but i contribute max (i.e last year 18.5) and this year i'm planning to contribute 19k  and this is pre-tax .And also you can invest in roth-ira around 6k after paying taxes , so any amount you earn on 6k is tax free  here after .

thanks bro...i lost you in the bold part..

so if we contribute 19k, and company contrubutes 9.5k, then all this pretaxed amount can be invested into some low/high risk mutual funds right?
