Canadian government allows extradition of Huawei CFO to the U.S.

The Canadian government has decided to allow the extradition of Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou to the U.S., the country's Department of Justice announced Friday

Meng, the daughter of Huawei founder Ren Zhengfei, was arrested in Vancouver in December over allegations that the company defrauded several banks, including HSBC and Standard Chartered, by concealing payments from Iran in violations of sanctions.

The lengthy process to extradite Meng extends a saga that has captivated markets and fueled tensions between the U.S. and China. Meng will appear in Canadian court for an extradition hearing on March 6.

She is not CEO it’s CFO but sanctions voilate seste konchem gattigane untadi can’t say how big.. I heard a story in my company American citizen did Same and sold some products when sanctions are in place he is in jail for morethan 10 years. All he did was to increase his sale target and make profits. Even I use to work for automotive supplier we got An email never ever deal with Iran, if so we can’t save you don’t send any vehicles for testing even.
