I tried using those one of the google pixel ones...have been using iOS since 2009 but thought of switching to Android...used for two weeks but did not feel comfortable, may be because not used to it...switched back to IOS

I used to use Sailfish OS.. It has an amazing compatibility with Android. Although there's no point to that feature if your phone is full of Android apps. Native Sailfish apps are not feature rich, and most of them are unusable.

Now I'm using postmarketOS for the past year. Its beyond amazing. I can simply run linux apps on this. and run android apps on a layer that doesnt give away too much to Android.

postmarketOS is the best mobile OS I've used. and I use it on a really old touch phone with a 600mhz processor. I can't use some of the standard apps like uber, but I don't eat out often. and when I do, I prefer community kitchens.

try lineage OS, if you want to stay away from google, but want to take advantage of the android ecosystem.

its really good. I used its earlier avatar Cyanogen Mod

Bought iPhone 7.... Used it a few days ... Didn't like the UI .... Back to pixel line up
