Deloitte plans to hire 40,000 in Hyderabad

Global consulting firm Deloitte plans to double headcount at its largest India facility in Hyderabadto nearly 80,000 over the next three to five years. Deloitte, one of the Big Four audit firms, now employs nearly 40,000 people at the Hyderabad office, which houses some of its key innovation centres for the global market.

“In Hyderabad, we have 40,000 people (and) that is the biggest office at the moment. It should double in few years,” Hemant Joshi, technology, media and telecom leader at Deloitte India, told ET in an interview.

I concur, someone I know took a transfer from USA to India/hyd for 55 lakhs per annum(this was 3 years ago), though he was a technical guy here he took a managerial role when he moved back

Consulting or analytics? 55lk is not a great salary, right? More value is living in Hyderabad.

He was into consulting when he was here but not sure of what he is into now, that is a good number for Hyd standards and 3 years ago it was even better
