China’s aviation regulator is grounding all Boeing 737 MAX 8 planes following Sunday’s Ethiopian Airlines crash which killed 157 people. The same model of plane was being operated by Lion Air in October 2018 when it also crashed, killing 189 people, raising questions about the aircrafts' safety. Cayman Airways have also grounded the planes, while other airlines who use the Boeing plane say they are monitoring the situation. In a statement, Boeing said it is ‘deeply saddened’ by the Ethiopian Airlines incident and has postponed the March 13 public rollout of a new aircraft.
