ARYA
The D-day is 30 days from now and we are going to analyze the PPTs of TDP. Post your opinion on was the PPT a reality or just a farce? Coming to the 1st one, this is the 1st PPT that TDP has posted right after CBN came back to power. DID Amaravathi surpass banglore in IT investments? In reality DID it make even 0.1% of the annual IT revenue that Banglore generated? What does BANGLORE had to watch out for Amaravathi in the last 5 yrs when BABU CAME BACK? Watch Out Bangalore! With CBN at the helm, Seemandhra will surpass you soon in IT investments and jobs

snoww
Only one big tech company I can think of which proposed to start an IT office in last 5 years is HCL. That too we will see if those are call center jobs or actual software IT jobs once it starts

Android_Halwa
first of all, there is not proper data available but if we use our common sense, Bangalore has so many things that Amaravati probably cannot even match on the next 2 decades. It has an ecosystem which has been only developing and improving over the last 40 years, perhaps since the mid-'70s where the only other cities which have competition was Pune/Mumbai and the competing companies were Patni, TCS and maybe a couple of other companies in the '70s. Bangalore has a host of research centers and most importantly ISRO's ground receiver center which manages all the data in the country which is crucial for an industry like IT. Other factors like climate, culture etc are only cosmetic. Now, Do you want to compare Banglore with Amaravati? The verdict is clear...The PPT is a hoax, a lie. Far away from reality. Android_Halwa
Amaravati will be like any other city, dreams unlimited and optimistic about future and growth but comparing growth with well-established centers will only make its dream cut short. Amaravati has severe cut-throat competition from Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, Ahmedabad etc. which are now tier-1 cities in IT exports, Where does Amaravati stand? Why does Amaravati need to be an IT capital? Why cannot Amaravati be a service-oriented or financial center? Maybe as an educational hub makes more sense... It is like a first standard boy being forced to believe that he is a marathon runner and can come first... Give the city some time to settle down and create its own uniqueness rather than to project itself as an IT destination.
